Philosophy of Horizons Unlimited ... - to stimulate academically superior students with intellectual challenges and exciting learning experiences.
As students begin the important process of choosing a college, the chance to “preview” university life can be invaluable. For several years, Horizons Unlimited has offered students the opportunity to explore the challenges and rewards of university life. Students in Horizons Unlimited participate in activities designed specifically to meet the needs of academically talented, career-oriented students.
Students live on campus in a university residence hall or commute. In addition to classroom time, recreational activities are planned for the evenings. Commuter students participate in the evening activities as well. Residence hall staff reside on the floors with the students, escort them to and from class and supervise evening activities. Horizons students eat in Couch Cafeteria, which provides all-you-can-eat meals and include a salad bar.
